Aligning Wellbeing with Business Strategy Guide

“Look after your people and they will look after your customers.” It is an old and probably overused saying, but it is a fundamental truth. The logic is simple – happy and cared for people produce better work and are better ambassadors for your brand. If they are naturally proud of the business that they represent, this will show in

the way they conduct themselves and interact with customers.

Research backs this up - a Gallup study has found that highly engaged business units have a 10% difference in customer ratings and an 18% difference in sales as well as significantly reduced staff turnover against the norm for the organisation. An Aon survey on wellbeing found that a 4% improvement in employee wellbeing led

to a 1% increase in profits.

But truly caring for your people and making them feel valued is about more than perks. Gyms, free food and drink, flexible working and so on are all great and can make a huge difference. But how do you take your wellbeing strategy to the next level and how can you

align it with your business performance?
